fighting polution
saving marine life
Every year, over 640,000 tons of fishing ropes are discarded in our oceans, entangling and killing thousands of marine animals. These ‘ghost nets’ drift for decades, wreaking havoc on marine ecosystems.
Our mission is to turn OceanTrash Bracelets into limited edition jewelry. The ultimate dream would be that we won’t be able to make any more bracelets because there simply aren’t any fishing nets or shipping ropes to be found in the ocean or washed up on beaches. OceanTrash bracelets will never be made from newly made ropes or nets.
By 2050, plastic is projected to outweigh all fish in the sea, with 10% of this amount attributed to the fishing industry.
supporting
charities and initiatives
By repurposing these ropes, we prevent countless marine animals from suffering and dying in ghost nets. Our partnership with Sea Shepherd amplifies our impact, supporting their mission to defend ocean wildlife and habitats worldwide.

empowering
communities & oceans
Every bracelet sold not only contributes to cleaner oceans but also supports the community by providing (volunteer) work in net collection and bracelet production. Together we’re building a sustainable future for our oceans and those who depend on them.
